Tibetan Buddhist Chant…What are they saying?
I know Kargyraa, or an undertone form of singing developed in the republic of Tuva and often used in Buddhist chant from Tibet. Since I know how to sing this way, I have been singing along with some of my cd’s. I know that they are chanting mantras but I can’t hear which ones. Does anyone have any idea as to what they are saying? It sounds silly to be chanting along “OM’ and then a mantra comes up and you can’t get all the syllables right…
Well, you sure know a lot more than me and, I’m sure, a lot of others here.
Isn’t there some Tibetan Buddhist site where you could ask and get more authentic information?
